Mackenzie is an actor— not a very popular one. She’s putting up a one-woman show to change that. The Wake of Ur Problematic Fav Prty Grl documents the highs and lows of the raucous, licentious, outrageous creation of a young woman’s early 20s. Wine-soaked with commentary on addiction, family, (pop)cultural domination, post-modern apathy and the theatrical industrial complex itself, it might just become a smash hit if she can actually commit— to the bit, and to herself.
Trigger Warnings: Prty Grl centers sensitive topics like addiction, substance abuse, and sexual assault. There is a brief moment of intense light and sound, as well as swearing throughout.
*Please note that this performance will be presented at the Tank's in-person performance space at 312 W 36th St. All attendees and artists will be required to display proof of two doses of an approved covid vaccination before being admitted to the space. Patrons will also be required to wear masks, when not eating or drinking.
