…and then there was EVE
September 24 at 3 PM
and then there was Eve... is a multi-disciplinary project that manifests itself through a performative concert where music plays a central role mixed with simple elements of theatrical dramaturgy. In an attempt to re-invent Eve’s original story and respond to questions related to female identity, Eve ceases to play a secondary role. Based on testimonies, conversations and references from invited participants, Eve is re-written, re-mixed and re-born into a complex protagonist. A multi-tasking superwoman capable of playing all elements of a girlband on her own, Eve embodies this idealised hero in tandem with embracing notes tainted with contradictions. Eve's new, contemporary voice encourages audiences to question their general views on contemporary feminism.
