Dancefx is a non-profit dance organization dedicated to providing professional quality, cutting-edge choreography and dance education. A family to the core, the studio has always been a safe space for growth and support.
XPANSE: 20 YEARS OF DANCEFX centers on the power of friendship, mentorship, and togetherness and celebrates the Dancefx community across two decades, with a collection of both nostalgic company repertoire pieces and innovative new works.
Picture a big map with pushpins and yarn connecting all of our friends all over the world. Each of these lines holds with it an electrical energy that sparks intention- to create, to exist, to connect, to impart. As one pin electrifies another, our map gets a little brighter, illuminating our strength in community.
The show is conceived and directed by Miranda Dahl and Allison Smith and features their choreography alongside other works by Dancefx Athens and Dancefx Atlanta dancers.
