Only You, A Queer Cabaret
About the Show
What's in a name? Or, more specifically, what's in a label, and why the #@&! do we use them?! Married couple Donnie and Rebecca Cianciotto grew up in two different worlds - one was a super rowdy transgender drag king from NYC and the other was an introverted cisgender ballerina from Arizona - and yet here they are living happily in the Bronx with three cats (of course) and a dog (duh) and about to celebrate their first wedding anniversary! Explore gender identity, sexual preference, and the bullshit labels we often adhere to in "Only You", an intimate, funny, and thought-provoking cabaret piece full of laughs, insight, and music. Join Donnie Cianciotto ("Southern Comfort" at The Public Theater) and Rebecca Cianciotto ("Musical Mayhem Cabaret" at Unscrewed Theater) at The Tank for drinks, stories, secrets, and showtunes on October 2nd at 8pm. www.donniecianciotto.weebly.com Insta: thedonniecianciotto & theredheron
