Writer. Wino. Bagel Eater.

Writer. Wino. Bagel Eater.

TICKETS

$10

What do Meg Ryan, Charles Schulz, and a Mary-Tyler-Moore-dressed rent-boy have in common? Why, they’re all part of an evening of short work, written and directed by Joe Breen! The company of four actors (Brendan Cataldo, Vanessa Pereda-Felix, Miranda Noelle Wilson, and Clint Zugel) take audiences on a laugh-filled, tear-fueled ride, making various stops along the way: including the backstage area of a struggling political rally; the lonely beach of a 1950’s summer camp; and the funeral of a nasty old lady, whom no one’s sad to see go. “Writer. Wino. Bagel Eater.” examines the influence of Hollywood on our love lives; the double standards, and joint pressures, of gender expectations; and the long lasting scars we all carry, thanks to parental misfires. This November, join us on Badinage Theatre Company’s maiden voyage, where there’s sure to be something for everyone! And if not—well, at least there’s a cash bar.
