RULE OF 7x7 is an ongoing series that premieres 7 new short plays by 7 writers. For each round of 7x7, each writer devises a rule (such as "Rihanna must be mentioned" or "a back-handed compliment on page two”) & then each writer creates a new short play incorporating ALL 7 rules. Each round of 7x7 features a different set of writers, creative teams, rules & plays. Running for 7 years at The Tank, RULE OF 7x7 is a NEW YORK TIMES, PLAYBILL and TIME OUT NEW YORK highlight for quality content!

It's the end of an era! After ten years of memories and laughter at The Tank, the next Rule of 7x7 will be the final round. Producer Brett Epstein invites you to the Tank one last time to celebrate with the artists and audiences who've made 7x7 a decade-long short play smash.

New plays by: Alton Alburo, Chiara Atik, Brett Epstein, Cary Gitter, Layla Khoshnoudi, Dan McCabe and Sean Murphy.

*Please note. Your ticket purchase to the closing performance (Sun Mar 3 at 3pm) includes a 7x7 wrap party/gathering on the 6th floor of the Tank."

*Please note that this performance will be presented at the Tank's in-person performance space at 312 W 36th St. All attendees and artists will be required to have a covid vaccination before being admitted to the space. Patrons will also be required to wear masks, when not eating or drinking.
